Surrounded by murderers, rapists, and thieves. Separated from family. Living in cramped cells. Ailing health. Pastors Samuel, Roshan and Ugyen were in prison—for the sake of Christ.
Pastors Ugyen, Roshan and Samuel all have something deeply in common: They suffered in prison for the name of Christ. We may not be able to share the same kind of stories as them, but we can take a few moments to glimpse into their lives. When we do, we see how the love of Jesus shines through—even in the darkest prison cell.
This month, many churches around the world have focused on praying for the Persecuted Church. The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church was observed on November 6 and 13.
Our brothers and sisters in Christ face intense opposition for their faith in Jesus, and we can stand with them through our prayers!
