The Need in Asia is Great
Over 80,000 die every day in Asian countries without knowing about the love of Jesus Christ. 500,000 villages in India alone have never heard the Gospel. Gospel for Asia, founded by K.P. Yohannan, is following the Lord by sharing with the body of Christ around the globe the opportunity we have to bring thousands into the Kingdom.
Gospel for Asia is focused on reaching the unreached people in Asia and enabling Christians in the West to have a vital part in bringing hope to the lost.
Men and women national missionaries are willing to lay down their lives so more people can hear about the love of Christ. These brothers and sisters know the language and the culture, and they have a heart to reach the people in the most remote places of Asia.
We also minister to children through Gospel for Asia’s Bridge of Hope program, providing an education, quality meals and a loving environment for over 60,000 children throughout South Asia. These children are the next generation, and we want to show them the value they have in Christ.
With Gospel for Asia’s Compassion Services, we are able to help victims of natural disasters, lepers, widows and slum dwelers. We are meeting vital needs for people in dire circumstances.
For over 30 years the Lord has been working through Gospel for Asia, bringing aid and hope to some of the most downtrodden people in South Asia.
- Over 2 billion people have not heard the Gospel in their language
- There is only one missionary worker for every 78,000 people among unreached people groups
- Over 1,200 distinct cultural groups in the world are without a single church among them
- Over 85% of the countries in Asia do not allow western missionaries to share the Gospel and establish fellowships
Through the Eyes of Jesus
“I pray that Gospel for Asia will become like a bridge, giving you the opportunity to walk away from your own preoccupations to the harvest fields of Asia—and see the perishing multitudes through the eyes of Jesus.
May you allow God to use your life to change the destiny of millions through your prayers and partnership with our national brothers and sisters. A hundred years from now, you will be glad you did!”
